Has Anyone Worked with a Writer to Create a Children’s eBook?

Hey everyone! My son has a wild imagination, and we came up with a fun story together about a time traveling dinosaur. I’d love to turn it into an eBook so he can read and share his imaginations with others. Since I’m not great at writing, I’m thinking it might be best to hire a children ebook writer. Has anyone tried this? How do you find the right person for this job?
